Applications are welcomed from working booksellers and trainees - but also from librarians, auctioneers, collectors and would-be collectors keen to increase their specialised knowledge, or indeed anyone with a genuine wish to learn more about old books, old maps or other similar material. None of the courses is easy - they are not supposed to be - but they do offer a unique opportunity to learn directly from vastly experienced and knowledgeable booksellers and bibliographers. Many further courses are also envisaged and if you have any particular requirement or interest - then please let us know, and we shall give your request every consideration. It is also hoped eventually to introduce occasional lectures, residential courses or seminar groups.
	The Rare Book Society was founded by members of the Antiquarian Booksellers' Association (International) - and the Association enthusiastically endorses the programme.
